Here you can stipulate that final billing for the insurance provider cannot be performed unless the discharge diagnosis or the hospital main diagnosis has been entered.

Use

When final billing for inpatient and day patient cases is performed the billing program checks this indicator, on condition that the corresponding services are billed to this insurance provider.

Dependencies

You specify whether the system is to check for the existence of the discharge diagnosis and/or the hospital main diagnosis when the indicator is set by making the relevant settings in the IMG activity Set Parameters for Diagnosis Documentation.
