Definition

Grouping which controls how the system performs legal control and assigns licenses for a material on the basis of the various legal regulations to be observed.

Procedure

Enter the relevant grouping for export control. In contrast to the export control class, the grouping is freely definable.

Use

The grouping can be used to combine materials with different export control classes for which the same export requirements apply.

As the export requirements are not based directly on the material or its export control class, the license type is determined during legal control on the basis of the grouping assigned to the material in the material master record.
