Documentation
Definition
The key for a legally and organizationally independent unit in the hospital system. The institution is located at the highest level in the hospital organization within a client.
The year-end closing required by law is created for the institution. In general, each institution has its own patient management and patient accounting departments (it is, however, possible to maintain the patient master data client-specifically).
Many system settings can be maintained on an institution basis.
You can list all the institutions in your system by choosing Possible entries for this field.
Supplementary Documentation - EINRI 0001
Use
In addition to the specification of an existing institution, masking the institution field within the table TNDYM is also possible as an alternative. You can carry out masking by entering '*'. This way, this entry is active for all institutions which are not listed explicitly for this screen in the TNDYM.
Procedure
Examples
If there is to be a different default setting of the display attributes in institution 0010 as in all other institutions when creating the patient master data, two entries in the table TNDYM are necessary:
Ins. Mod. pool ScNo User Group Process. mode
