Definition

Specifies that period-based quantities are displayed for waste approvals.

Use

Set this indicator if you also want to display the period-based quantities for the selected waste approvals. Only the period-based entries that match your selection criteria are taken into account. Note that when entering the selection criteria Valid From and Valid To, only the waste approvals and the period-based entries with quantities that are valid throughout the whole selection period are displayed.

The period-based entries in the Period Entry column are marked with an X in the list.

Note

If several waste codes are stored for a waste approval, an entry is displayed in the list for each approval-waste code combination, since each combination can have its own period-based entries assigned to it.

If you also set this indicator, then quantities for the period-based entries that are valid during the whole selection-time interval are also displayed for the respective approval-waste code combinations.

Dependencies

Example

Your system has the following waste approvals with validity:

A:    01/01/2003 - 12/31/2007

B:    01/01/2006 - 12/31/2010

C:    01/01/2008 - 12/31/2012

D:    01/01/2009 - 12/31/2013

As selection criteria for the time period, enter the validity interval 10/01/2007 - 03/01/2008.

You get only waste approval B in the hit list, since this is the only one that is valid for the complete interval. In this scenario, it is assumed that you have only stored one waste code for the waste approval and that only one approval-waste code combination is displayed in the list.

For example, the system contains the following period-based entries (period entries) for your approval-waste code combination (for waste approval B):

PA:    01/01/2006 - 06/31/2007

PB:    07/01/2007 - 08/31/2007

PC:    09/01/2007 - 12/31/2008

PD:    01/01/2009 - 12/31/2010

If you have set the indicator for displaying the quantities in the time period, the period-based entry PC will also be displayed for waste approval B, since this is valid throughout the whole selection interval.

Scenario with waste approvals that have more than one waste code assigned to them

Using the example given above, we will now assume that the determined waste approval B has more than one waste code assigned to it:

W1:    Waste code 1:

W2:    Waste code 2:

W3:    Waste code 3:

Three entries are displayed in the list for waste approval B (one for each approval-waste code combination).

The following period-based entries (period entries) are available for the respective waste codes in the waste approval:

For waste code W1:

P1A with validity period    01/01/2006 - 06/31/2007

P1B with validity period    07/01/2007 - 08/31/2007

P1C with validity period    09/01/2007 - 12/31/2008

P1D with validity period    01/01/2009 - 12/31/2010

For waste code W2:

P2A with validity period    11/01/2007 - 01/11/2008

For waste code W3:

P3A with validity period    10/01/2007 - 10/31/2009

P3B with validity period    03/01/2010 - 08/31/2010

The following period-based entries are therefore determined for the specified selection-validity interval 10/01/2007 - 03/31/2008:

  • Entry P1C for waste code W1, since the selection-validity interval is completely covered
  • No entry for waste code W2, since entry P2A only covers part of the selection-validity interval (The time periods 10/01/2007 - 10/31/2007 and 01/12/2008 - 03/31/2008 are not covered.)
  • Entry P3A for waste code W3, since the selection-validity interval is completely covered

The list that is displayed is therefore structured as follows:

  • Waste approval entry: combination waste approval B with waste code W1
  • Period entry (P = 'X'): P1C for combination B/W1
  • Waste approval entry: combination waste approval Bwith waste code W2
  • Waste approval entry: combination waste approval B with waste code W3
  • Period entry (P = 'X'): P3A for combination B/W3

Period entries are not displayed if you have not set the indicator.
