Definition
Flag this option to stipulate that you want to use a collective cost center when the system determines the cost center for revenue accounting.
The collective cost center is used if the system cannot determine the appropriate cost center on the basis of the assignment rules that have been defined in the system. Especially if the requsting organizational unit has not been specified for a service, or if the table for the assignment of cost centers to organizational units is incomplete, the systems determines a collective cost center.
Note
You can specify a collective cost center in the Assign Cost Center to Org. Unit for revenue Acctg table by entering an asterisk (*) in the O.deptOU and O.nursOU fields.
Recommendation
It is recommended to avoid using collective cost centers in production systems.
