General
This field defines which system has sent the IDoc. SNDPOR is a mandatory field.
The sending system can be an EDI subsystem or another SAP System (R/2 from 5.0F, SAP system from 2.1).
Applications
No action required.
IDoc interface
Outbound IDocs:
The sending system is always an SAP System. The EDI interface must determine the system ID and write it to the field in the form SAP<SYS-ID> (e.g. SAPC11).
Inbound IDocs:
It checks whether the specified sender port exists.
EDI subsystem
Outbound IDocs:
No action required.
Inbound IDocs:
The specified ID of the sending system must be written to the field SNDPOR.
