General
This field defines the transfer mode for the IDoc from SAP to the EDI subsystem.
The field must be filled for outbound IDocs, it must be blank for inbound IDocs.
Applications
Outbound IDocs:
The application selection module receives the data via the parameter PARTOUT (partner profile). The value can be overwritten so that it is possible to determine in which mode the IDocs are to be transferred.
Inbound IDocs:
No action required.
IDoc interface
Outbound IDocs:
The field OUTMOD is used to control the flow of the outbound data.
Inbound IDocs:
No action required.
