This key field is assigned to the corresponding message control (output control) field. Together with the output type, it uniquely identifies a message type in message control that can then be assigned uniquely to an IDoc type.
Examples
- 'EA' = 'Purchasing RFQ' in Materials Management (MM).
- 'V3' = 'Billing' in Sales and Distribution (SD).
