Definition
The value of this field is the reference to an IDoc of type IDCREF01 which logically groups together various application documents.
The field is not filled in outbound processing.
In inbound processing, the field contains the reference (IDoc number) of the reference IDoc which has been passed to the EDI subsystem with the outbound application documents. It therefore allows the inbound reference IDoc, identified by its control record, to be correlated and compared with the original outbound reference IDoc.
This field is of central importance for releasing the business process for signing.
