This field contains the unique object key of the EDI subsystem for its archive, in which the EDI messages are stored in their original format.

No action required.

IDoc interface

Outbound IDocs:
The archive reference in the control record is updated when the respective stauts record is received. Any previously stored references are overwritten with the last value.

Inbound IDocs:
No action required.

EDI subsystem

Outbound IDocs:
The reference number is reported to the SAP system with one of the status records. The last reference number is always stored with the IDoc.

Inbound IDocs:
No action required.
