Use
The hierarchy level of the segment is determined in the IDoc Interface, where the relevant <DS:GLOS.IDoc type>IDoc type was defined. As a result, neither the external system (inbound) nor the application (outbound) should maintain this field, to avoid any errors. The IDoc Interface checks the values against the syntax description of the transferred IDoc type.
Dependencies
A segment can only be used on one hierarchy level for each IDoc type.
