Definition
You enter the service type of the contract to be simulated here.
If related contracts are also have to be simulated in the simulation scenario, you must define their participating service types.

Example
In a deregulated energy market, the product being supplied is described in a supply contract and a contract for grid usage.
The supply contract is used in a simulation scenario to simulate alternative rate categories for a quotation. However, the quotation must include both supply and grid usage costs.
As a result, you have to define the supply as a service type for the simulation scenario and the grid usage as the participating service type. This means that the grid usage contract is also simulated and the amounts are included in the results.
