Definition
Day of the month that determines which month a period belongs to.
Use
Is used for monthly analyses of a period.
A period contains a certain number of months. In the process, the key date determines whether a month is included in the respective period or not.
Dependencies
Is only relevant when a corresponding access control has been selected for an operand or a corresponding period control has been selected for a month-specific keydate-dependent billing.
Example
The key date is the 15th of the month. As a result, in a monthly analysis, the period
- January 3 - December 22 covers 12 months
- January 16 - December 14 only covers 10 months
