Definition
This data element determines whether guaranteed consistent data is required, or if current status of the data is not important (key word: buffering of a table on the application server).
The parameter does not reveal, whether the data is read directly from the data base (BYPASSING BUFFER) or from the buffer.
The way in which guaranteed consistent data is made available is managed by the DB access function module.
