Definition

The employee grouping for the time evaluation rule is user-definable.
It can be used to group employees for time evaluation independently of their organizational assignment.

Use

This grouping is not processed by the time evaluation driver in the standard system. It only makes sense to make an entry in the field if the appropriate rules have been defined and activated when the system was customized.

Procedure

Find out whether the grouping for time evaluation is used in your enterprise and, if so, for what purpose.

Examples

Part-time employees are assigned to a different grouping than full-time employees. The groupings are queried in time evaluation and initiate different methods of time evaluation for full-time and part-time employees in certain cases.
