Definition
Plant from which goods are delivered to the customer.
Use
The system proposes this plant as the default value in sales order items.
Procedure
If no default appears in the sales order item, enter a delivering plant manually.
The default value is taken
- either from the customer master record of the ship-to party
- or from the material master record
The system runs through a set sequence to check whether it can propose a value and whether the material exists in that plant. If the answers are "yes", the plant is copied to the sales order item, where you can change it manually if necessary.
