Definition

Defines selection criteria for data when a filter object is used.

Use

Dependencies

Depending on the filter type used, you may have specify explicit filters by entering an ABAP dictionary structure on the SAP Easy Access screen under Cross-Application Components -> Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications -> Master Data Governance -> Data Replication -> Define Filter Criteria.

You define the filter objects and assign filters to them in Customizing for Cross-Application Components under Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications -> Master Data Governance -> General Settings -> Data Replication -> Enhance Default Settings for Outbound Implementations -> Define Filter Objects.

You can specify whether the data transferred using a replication model can be filtered in Customizing for Cross-Application Components under Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications -> Master Data Governance -> General Settings -> Data Replication -> Define Custom Settings for Data Replication -> Define Replication Models.

If you want to enable data filtering, you assign filter objects to an outbound implementation in Customizing for Cross-Application Components under Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications -> Master Data Governance -> General Settings -> Data Replication -> Enhance Default Settings for Outbound Implementations -> Define Outbound Implementations.
