Definition
The release status is only relevant in 'SAP mode'. When the object is released, an entry is created for the object in Table SPRTLOBREL. These entries can be used to create special delivery transports.
The objects delivered by SAP should be changed in the customer tables, and not directly in the SAP tables in a customer system. Choose a "customer mode" to do this.
If the object has 'Released' status, it cannot be changed in 'SAP mode'. If you want to change the object in the SAP tables, you must first reset the release, make the changes, and then release the object again.
Caution!
Only objects that are consistent and relevant for delivery for the particular maintenance system may be released.
