Definition
Drag&Relate objects can be collected together according to their Drag&Relate bahavior. Objects in the same group behave the same way with regard to link generation.
You can exploit this if you want to use a data element for more than one object type. In this case, all object types must be assigned to a Drag&Relate supertype.
At runtime (when starting the transaction), the object type is determined from key information using a function module with a standardized interface. The prerequisite for this is that the (primary) keys of the included objects are structured in the same way.
