Definition

This flag controls system behavior when importing Drag&Relate metadata.

You can set it as follows:

  • ' ' (standard): Automatic activation after import.
  • During the import, the system tries to activate the object, but only if it was not modified in the target system.
  • 'N': No automatic activation.
  • The objects are not activated. To make the changes active, you must activate the imported objects manually after the import.

To do this, you can use the 'mass activator' function in the maintenance transaction.

  • 'F': Automatic activation for all objects including modified objects.
  • The system always activates imported obejcts, even if these were modified in the target system. These modifications are then overwritten.

Note that the 'F' mode can only be used for 'customer' transports. 'SAP' transports (delivery transports or transports that were assembled in SAP mode) never overwrite locally modified objects. These objects must be activated manually in the target system.
