Definition
You can use this indicator to limit the scope of the recompilation of statistics by means of the document category (e.g. vendor billing document, settlement request, remuneration lists).
Use
You can limit the scope of recompilation (better performance) if you do not need the data of the relevent document categories for the information structures that you want to compile; in other words, if no update rules are maintained or the data for the document categories should not be transported into BW, for example.
In the standard SAP R/3 system, no update rules are maintained for the document categories settlement request list, posting list, customer settlement, remuneration list of customer settlement, expenses settlement, remuneration list of expenses settlement.
