Documentation
Definition
Determines whether internal sources of supply (SOS) stemming from supplying site relationships in SAP ERP should be resolved from a merchandise category level to an article level when transferring to SAP DMF.
Use
Supplying site relationships in SAP for Retail are defined on a receiving site/merchandise category level. If this flag is not activate one internal SOS record per supplying site relationship is transferred to SAP DMF.
This is sufficient to meet the standard requirements for SAP Promotion Management for Retail (PMR). However, should your processes require data maintenance in SAP DMF for SOS on a receiving site/article level, you could activate this flag to resolve each supplying site relationship being defined on a receiving site/merchandise category level to several SOS records on a receiving site/article level for all articles of the merchandise category that are relevant for the respective site.
Note:
Activating this flag could dramatically raise the number of records to be transferred to SAP DMF and could negatively impact your system performance.
No automatic action is performed when activating this flag after you have already started initial data replication to SAP DMF. The transfer would have to be triggered manually using ad-hoc replication of SOS information for all affected sites.
