Definition

Determines how the Customer Type field influences the assignment of tactic types and tactics to promotions.

Use

• Option 1: The checkbox is not selected:

  If you enter a value in the Customer Type field in this table, the selected tactic type and tactic are assigned to promotions that have the entered customer type as well as all the other attributes you entered.

  If you leave the Customer Type field in this table empty, the selected tactic type and tactic are assigned to promotions that have all the other attributes you entered, regardless of their customer type.

• Option 2: The checkbox is selected:

  It is not possible to enter a value in the Customer Type field. The selected tactic type and tactic are assigned to promotions that have no customer type information, but that have all the other attributes you entered.
