Definition
Indicates the maximum difference amount in local currency up to which inventory differences are allowed.
Use
If the difference value for all items is smaller than or equal to the specified threshold value, the document is posted in the background.
If an item manifests a greater difference, the system initially displays a selection screen where the items are suggested as follows:
- Items for which the difference value is smaller than or equal to the threshold value are preselected.
- Items for which the difference value is greater than the threshold value are not preselected. However, you can manually select the items if you wish to post the differences for these items, too.
Do not enter a value here if you can choose the items for which adjustment postings are to be made on the selection screen.
Enter a threshold value if you want to post the differences in the background and only wish to investigate larger difference values.

Use
Physical inventory items whose difference amount is greater than or equal to the threshold value, are suggested for recount.
Physical inventory items with a smaller difference amount are not preselected in the selection list. You can manually select these items if they are to be recounted, too.
Enter a threshold value if only items with greater inventory differences are to be recounted.
Do not enter a threshold value if all items of the physical inventory document are to be recounted.
