Definition

A secondary installation that has this role can transfer quantities and amounts from primary installation billing.

Use

When a primary installation is billed you can make quantities and amounts available for the subsequent billing of secondary installations. This only applies to secondary installations that have this indicator selected.

Dependencies

  • If this field is set in the installation role of a secondary installation, this secondary installation can no longer be billed independently. The primary installation must be billed first. This activates the billing orders of the secondary installation. Read the information in the billing sequence control.
  • In an installation role, you can select the fields Distribution-Relevant and Consumption-Relevant. Two kinds of data exchange take place in secondary installation if you do this: First of all, the primary installation is billed. When this happens, the billing orders of the secondary installation are simulated internally and the quantities or amounts are transferred from the simulation documents. Then the secondary installations are actually billed. They use the distribution data from the primary installation document.

Example

  • You create an installation group. The Distribution-Relevant indicator is selected in the installation role of the secondary installation.
  • A special variant program (for example UTILIT96) generates consumption information lines (ERCHV) in the primary installation rate.
  • You then maintain the data exchange from the primary installation to the secondary installation.
  • When the primary installation is billed, ERCHV lines are created for all distribution-relevant secondary installations. These ERCHV lines are then read when the secondary installations are billed. The quantities or amounts are transferred to the billing schema.
