  • ' ' - No check during document processing
  • 'I' - Issue information message during document processing
  • 'W' - Issue warning message during document processing
  • 'E' - Issue error message during document processing

Example

If you want the system to accept only valid 'mode of transport - customs office' combinations when you maintain foreign trade header data, set the "E" indicator.

Note

You can maintain valid 'mode of transport - customs office' combinations in Customizing for Foreign Trade in the activity "Valid combinations: Mode of transport - Office of exit" in the transportation data section.

If you have not yet maintained valid 'mode of transport - customs office' combinations for a country but you have set the "I", "W" or "E" indicator for the check, the system issues the corresponding message.
