Definition
Determines whether the validity of 'mode of transport - customs office' combinations should be checked in SD and MM documents as well as in the master data or proposal objects in MM and SD.
Possible entries:
- ' ' - No check during document processing
- 'I' - Issue information message during document processing
- 'W' - Issue warning message during document processing
- 'E' - Issue error message during document processing
Example
If you want the system to accept only valid 'mode of transport - customs office' combinations when you maintain foreign trade header data, set the "E" indicator.
Note
You can maintain valid 'mode of transport - customs office' combinations in Customizing for Foreign Trade in the activity "Valid combinations: Mode of transport - Office of exit" in the transportation data section.
If you have not yet maintained valid 'mode of transport - customs office' combinations for a country but you have set the "I", "W" or "E" indicator for the check, the system issues the corresponding message.
