The average consumption is calculated as follows:

Use

In the standard of Inventory Controlling the average consumption is calculated by executing a standard analysis. The total consumption quantity (total of the unplanned and planned consumptions) and the number of total consumptions are updated at the posting date in the information structure S031.

Dependencies

Note that the average consumption can only be correctly shown on an aggregated level (for example, on the plant or material group level) if amounts with the same unit of measure are cummulated. Otherwise '***' is used as the unit in the standard of Inventory Controlling.
