Definition

The delete program reads archive files and deletes the archived data from the database.

In exceptional situations, the deletion is only carried out logically and a delete indicator is set. The physical deletion is then carried out in the postprocessing job.

Use

When the data has been written to the archive file, the delete program specified here is called automatically by the write program.
