Definition
According to the tax law, the end date is 10 years after the start date (for property and buildings, § 15a par. 1, p. 2 German tax law). If the ten-year period ends before the 16th of the calendar month, this month is not included in the correction. However, if the period ends after the 15th of a calendar month, the whole month is taken into consideration (§ 45 German tax law).
