Definition

You want to add customer fields for the view in question. To protect these fields from being overwritten by SAP, they are stored in an append view for the view. You now have to define a name for this append view. The system proposes a list of the append views that already exist for this view. If there is no reason for not doing so, you should choose an append view from this list and then enhance it.

If the view does not yet have an append view yet, you must choose a name for the new append from your namespace. (For information on namespaces, refer also the the manual on the Change and Transport System.)
