Documentation
Definition
Specifies the time frame that the system considers when searching for notifications.
Use
This field is empty by default. If you leave this field empty, the system searches for all notifications that exist for the specified technical object, irrespective of whether their notification dates are in the past or future. If you enter a number of days in this field, the system calculates the start date of the time frame in which it searches for notifications as follows:
- By entering a number without a plus or minus sign, you specify a time frame in the future. The system adds this number to the current date, thus determining the start date of the time frame for the search. If you enter zero, the system uses the current date for the start date.
- By entering a negative number, you specify a time frame that begins in the past. If you enter a minus sign in front of the number of days, the system subtracts this number from the current date, thus determining the start date of the time frame for the search.
Note:
It is not possible to specify an end date for the time frame.
Dependencies
Example
On December 5th, 2013, you want to display all maintenance notifications that were created for a functional location within the last three days. You enter -3 in this field. The system searches for all maintenance notifications with notification dates on December 2nd or later.
