Definition
Specifies the start date of the time frame in which the system searches for service orders and maintenance orders for technical objects.
Use
This field is empty by default. If you leave this field empty, the system searches for all service and maintenance orders that exist for a particular technical object (up to the date in the Days for End Date field). If you enter a value in this field, the system searches for orders whose reference date is on this date or later.
If you enter a number of days in this field, the system calculates the start date of the time frame in which it searches for orders as follows:
- By entering a number without a plus or minus sign, you specify a time frame that begins in the past. The system subtracts this number from the current date, thus determining the start date of the time frame. If you enter zero, the system uses the current date for the start date.
- By entering a negative number, you specify a time frame that starts in the future. If you enter a minus sign in front of the number of days, the system adds this number to the current date, thus determining the start date of the time frame.
In the Days for End Date field, you can specify the end date of the time frame in which the system searches for orders for technical objects. If you do not specify an end date, the system searches for all orders that were created starting on the specified start date.
