Documentation
Definition
Specifies the end date of the time frame in which the system searches for service orders and maintenance orders for technical objects.
Use
This field is empty by default. If you leave this field empty, the system searches for all service and maintenance orders that exist for the particular technical object (starting on the date specified in the Days for Start Date field ).
If you enter a number of days in this field, the system calculates the end date of the time frame in which it searches for orders as follows:
- By entering a number without a plus or minus sign, you specify a time frame that ends in the future. The system adds this number to the current date, thus determining the end date of the time frame. If you enter zero, the system uses the current date for the start date.
- By entering a negative number, you specify a time frame that ends in the past. If you enter a minus sign in front of the number of days, the system subtracts this number from the current date, thus determining the end date of the time frame.
In the Days for Start Date field, you can specify the start date of the time frame in which the system searches for orders for technical objects. If you do not specify a start date, the system searches for all orders that were created up to the specified end date.
