Documentation
Definition
Number of the change master record which groups together logically linked documents and any other SAP objects (such as bill of material, routing, material).
Use
The system determines the valid-from date from the header of the change master record.
Procedure
If you want to create a document:
Once you save the document info record, you can no longer change the change number.
If you want to process the document with another change number, you have to create a new version.
Dependencies
The change master record must support processing of documents (Indicator: object type active for change number must be set in the change master).
