Definition

Formula that should be used in the context of capacity leveling to

calculate the remaining available capacity. The remaining available capacity is displayed in the planning table.

The remaining available capacity can be calculated in different ways:

  • Remaining available capacity = available capacity - requirements
  • generated by dispatched operations
  • or
  • Remaining available capacity = available capacity - requirements
  • generated by dispatched operations - requirements generated by
  • operations not yet dispatched (pool of orders/operations).
