Definition

Specifies how the start date of the operations is calculated when automatically dispatching internal operations in networks and plant maintenance orders

The following possibilities exist:

  1. Dispatch at the earliest start date
  2. Dispatch at the latest start date
  3. Dispatch dependent on valid distributaion key for the scheduling capacity:

    The distribution key contains a distribution strategy. In the distribution strategy the start date for distribution is specified (earliest or latest dates). This date specifies whether the earliest or latest start date is used.

    The system determines the distribution key for the scheduling capacity as follows:

    If the indicator "distribution from work center/operation" is set in theevaluation profile the distribution key from the operation is used. If no distribution key has been maintained in the system then the key from the capacity is used. In all other cases the system uses the standard distribution key in the evaluation profile

  4. Selection of dispatch date by the user:

    In this case the system offers the user the earliest and latest dates tochoose from.
