Definition
Specifies how the system is to deal with the situation where a gap arises in capacity commitment. This occurs within capacity leveling when an operation is deallocated.
There are the following options:
- The gap in the capacity commitment is left as it is.
- All the operations are shifted to the next gap in the capacity commitment in the planning direction so as to close the gap.
- All the operations are shifted to the end of the planning period in the planning direction so as to close the gap.
