Definition
The priority determines the order in which profiles are displayed. The profile with the lowest number has the highest priority.
If you have defined several profiles for a material, you see a dialog box when you start configuration, and must select one profile. The profile with the highest priority is at the top of the list.
The priority is also required if you configure the material using ALE or IDocs instead of in dialog mode. The profile with the highest priority is automatically selected for the material.
Profiles that have no priority are at the top of the list, because internally they have the counter 0.
