Definition

Name of user in SAP System for which BOM maintenance defaults were entered in the BOMs application area.

Use

You can enter default values for all users of BOM transactions. To do this, enter the default values you require under the user DUMMY.
When a user (for example, Miller) starts a BOM transaction, the system first checks whether default values are stored for the user MILLER. If not, the default values for user DUMMY are copied to the transaction.

Examples

If the value "1" is entered for BOM usage, the system enters this as a default in all initial screens where this field is available for input.
