Definition

This indicator shows that characteristic values for a specific configuration were assigned to the material in its material master with reference to a material variant.

Use

This indicator is set by the system.

The indicator shows whether:

• the material is allocated to the BOM of the configurable material as a material variant.
  (indicator set)
• a separate BOM exists for the material

  This can mean, for example, that there are several alternatives of a multiple BOM or variants of a variant BOM, or the BOM of the configurable material is allocated to further plants.
  (indicator not set)
