Definition
This key defines the order of priority of BOM usages for computer integrated production.
Use
When a BOM is exploded, priority is given to the alternative that has the greatest available significance according to the order of priority defined for the selection ID.
If no valid BOM is found for any of the usages defined in the order of priority, there is no BOM explosion.
Procedure
Examples
You maintain selection ID 05, to be used for alternative determination in sales and distribution. BOM usage 'sales' (4) has the highest priority, followed by 'production' (2).
The settings for this example are as follows:

When you define the application for sales and distribution (application SLDB) in step 'Define applications', allocate selection ID 05 to application SLDB.
