Definition
The process yield is the percent of expected quantity material produced based on the quantity of component go into the production route. The process yield is calculated as the total quantity-out divided by the total quantity-in and multiplied by 100.
Use
The process is used in Supply Demand Match (SDM) to determine the expected quanities of the output material, when given the quantities of the input material (components).
Example
Input quantity: 25 wavers Process yield: 80% --> Output quantity: 20 wavers
