Documentation
Definition
Unit of variable-size item that calculates the system from the Size entered. You can also enter a Variable-Size Item Formula for the calculation.
The variable-size item quantity relates to one unit.
Procedure
If you change a field, which alters the calculation of the variable-size item quantity (such as size or formula), the system only makes a new calculation when you cancel the already available variable-size item quantity.
To do this, delete the contents of the field Variable-Size Item Quantity.
Examples
Size 1: 200
Size 2: 300
Variable-size unit of measure: MM
Variable-size item unit: SQUARE METERS
Calculation of Variable-Size Item Quantity:
A = Size 1 * Size 2
A = 200 MM * 300 MM
A = 0,06 QM
The variable-size item quantity amounts to per sheet 0,06 SQUARE METERS.
Dependencies
The system calculates the total quantity needed for the disposition. For a base quantity of 1 this is the number of variable size items multiplied by the variable-size item quantity.
If, for example, 10 sheets make up the components (number of variable size items = 10), the total quantity amounts to 10 * 0,06 QM = 0,6 QM.
