Documentation
Definition
This indicator controls the BOM explosion for a material which has the special procurement key direct production (collective order) or direct procurement for determining dependent requirements.
Use
If you select an explosion type in a BOM item which has this indicator set, then direct production or direct procurement of the component are switched off.
Procedure
Examples
Dependencies
In the standard SAP system, components which have the special procurement key direct production are produced directly for the superior assembly. The planned order which is created for the component is directly linked to the superior assembly. If components are produced directly for the superior assembly, dependent requirements are marked accordingly. The system generates a special planning section under the heading direct production.
For components which have the special procurement key direct procurement, the system generates a special planning section under the heading direct procurement
