Documentation
Definition
Percentage of the business event price to be charged for a cancellation for the cancellation reason selected.
Use
You make an entry in this field to specify the percentage automatically used to calculate the cancellation fee.
When you execute the function Cancel on the screen Cancel Attendance: Data, the entry displayed in this output field tells you whether cancellation fees are to be levied and how they are calculated:
- Value = 0%: No cancellation fees are to be levied
- Value > 0%: Cancellation fees are to be levied to the amount indicated in the field.
Dependencies
If no percentage specifications are set for the cancellation reason and no free of charge indicator, the cancellation fee is calculated using the percentage value stored under Day-to-Day Activities -> Control Data in the SEMIN CCDEL entry. In this case, the output field displays the value from SEMIN CCDEL.
Note:
When you execute the function Cancel, on the initial screen you can choose Cancel/Payment info to access the settlement data screen with details of the settlement type and the cancellation fee. You can change data here if required.
Example
A percentage value of 10% is set for the cancellation reason Attendee cancels booking. An external attendee wants to cancel an event booking costing 2000 DM for external attendees. The clerk processing the cancellation selects the relevant cancellation reason and calculates a cancellation fee of 200,- DM.

Use
You make an entry in this field to specify how cancellation fees are to be calculated.
Dependencies
If there is no percentage value stored with the cancellation reason and cancellation is not flagged free of charge, the cancellation fee is calculated using the percentage value stored in the SEMIN CCDEL switch in table T77S0
Example
For the cancellation reason Attendee cancels booking, the percentage value of 10% is set. An external attendee wants to cancel his or her booking for a business event (external price: 2000,- DM). The clerk processing the request selects the relevant cancellation reason and a cancellation fee of 200,- DM is charged to the attendee.
