Procedure
Enter one of the following number types:
Business partner: for a business partner number
Organizational unit: for a number identifying an internal organizational unit
User: for a system user number
If you leave this field blank the system enters Business partner.

The systems always identifies a partner number in relation to a number type. It uses the partner number and number type to search in the business partner master data for the right partner.
We recommend that you enter only one partner number for a business partner. In the SAP Easy Access menu, see Master Data -> Business Partner -> Maintain Business Partner.
