Definition
Date for which the system performs a formula evaluation. When evaluating a formula, the system uses the price quotations and the exchange rates as they are or as they were on the evaluation key date.

The evaluation key date is the earliest date of the following dates:

Example
For period-end valuation, the system uses the valuation key date as the requested evaluation key date. If no latest evaluation key date is set, the system uses the requested evaluation key date as evaluation key date for formula evaluation.
