Documentation
Definition
Defines the share of the term for calculating the rate of the whole formula. The total commodity quantity and its unit are used by the quantity split routine to distribute the whole commodity quantity of the item across all terms (mainly used for value based terms).
Use
Total commodity quantity and its unit can be used by the combination routine to calculate the formula rate out of the term rates.
Instead of using the commodity quantity directly, you can define factors for each term.
Dependencies
Example
Combination Routine 4 (Weighted Sum of Terms) uses the commodity quantities of the terms (when they are maintained).
Total quantity of the commodity for the formula: 1000 KG
Term 1: Total Commodity Quantity = 400 KG
Term 2: Total Commodity Quantity = 600 KG
In this case the first term contributes four-tenths to the formula value, whereas the second term contributes six-tenths.
