Definition

Specifies how the commodity pricing engine (CPE) converts rates or quantities from one unit of measure to another.

It consists of a quantity conversion routine and a rounding rule for rounding the result of the conversion.

Use

Quantity conversion rules can be assigned to conversion rules and to the CPE formula.

The use of a rounding rule is optional.

Quantity conversion rules can be defined in the CPE Customizing activity Define Quantity Conversion Rule.
