Definition

Specifies the routine for calculating a period and a list of dates that should be evaluated.

Use

The period determination routine is called by the period determination rule.

The routine is technically an implementation of the BADI_CPE_FE_PERIOD_DET_ROUTINE Business Add-In (BAdI).

Dependencies

The customer name space for routines is 30.000 to 99.999.

Example

  • 1 (SAP CPE Period Determination):
    This implementation applies the offset to the reference date to obtain the base date. Then it adds time units before and after the base date, possibly excluding the base date. This implementation constructs a list of time stamps that is limited by the calculated start and end date # and for which the quotation or currency date should be read. This list can also be restricted up to a certain 'read-until' date.
